Job Description
- Planning all engineering activities and management of the engineering team;
- Report to the CEO and help to establish strategic plans and long term objectives;
- Responsible for delivering on-time and on-budget new products according to defined requirements;
- Responsible for improving the quality and reliability of current products and services;
- Responsible for compliance with norms and legal requirements and signoff of respective technical documentation;
- Continuous improvement of internal engineering processes and product documentation;
- In collaboration with VP Operations and VP Technology provide support to improve current processes of manufacturing, assembly and QA.
Requirements
- BSc / MSc in Mechanical Engineering / Electronics / Robotics / similar field;
- Minimum 5 years of experience in similar position;
- Strong organizational skills and ability to plan and provide regular reports;
- Strong knowledge of traditional (mechanical, electrical, systems) engineering processes and tools across the value chain;
- Relevant experience in product development / industrial equipment;
- Knowledge of automation, robotics, electronics and PCB design;
- Good communication skills with a multidisciplinary team and contact with clients and suppliers;
- Solid knowledge of English (written and spoken).
